I'm not usually a Ted hater, but I wanted to punch him in the face for driving off with Victoria. He knows how bad it feels to be that groom. At least have the decency to drive Victoria to the church and explain things face to face rather then leaving eveyrone hanging in limbo.
That kind of bothered me. The dude was a genius who just discovered music as his salvation from insanity. You'd think he would develop an appreciation for the topic and maybe spend an afternoon in the music room learning notation.
Porter's memory of his mother drowning him was really disturbing. The images of the mother, as seen from the perspective of a drowning boy, were haunting.
I agree that Barney and Quinn aren't going to work out. I'm thinking that one of the gang will see Quinn doing something shady, but, because of the broath not to interfere in his personal life, will not tell Barney about it right away.
I think it was Lucy's trunk — IIRC, we have seen Hauser pull her old case files out of that trunk to look for clues. However, that doesn't help date the medicine because she could have accessed it as recently as the day she was shot to update her supplies.

I felt like this episode was mostly filler. Robin hasn't settled anywhere. Ted needs to relocate because he feels unsettled. Marshal and Lilly aren't as settled as they appeared,. Barney would like to settle, but the girl needs convincing. It felt like a transition to greater things, but we don't yet have enough…
