Goddamnit why does this reviewer write like such a douchebag?   "but it's also the essential ethos of the episode."  It's a tv show.

Yeah that guy was the funniest part of the episode.  The squelches when he was squirting the lube were disgusting.

Are you high?  This epsisode, and the last two, were terrible.  McGee's grade is way to high.  I agree that the review sucks.  "True Pathos"?  Stop talking like my fucking english teacher.

Hmm.  South Park did an episode criticizing Glen Beck for that exact same strategy.

I liked Christmas with the Cranks.

I've been saying for awhile now that House could make billions if they made a porno.  Pay Thirteen, Cuddy, Cameron and the new girl 20 million each - they'd do it.  Throw in that redhead chick as well.

I dunno, Dr. Pretty Doctor kind of came off as a self important, opinionated bitch.

"I understand the value of control, and wanting to hold onto to something
that’s been in your family for generations, but in this economy? He’s
an ass."

I mean I don't want to see a Cartmen that's aware of that.

Which is funnier than Cartman breaking is mind so he can grow up.

The jokes about the 99% and 83% were funny, but I thought that whole part of the episode sucked.  And the Cartmen part was weird - I don't want to see a psychologically broken Cartmen.  I hope they abandon that thread.

"Of course, the teachers are idiots. So maybe it's just a big commentary
on how people just trying to live nice, normal lives are caught up in a
cyclone of idiocy between the incompetents who are in charge and those
who seek attention by being assholes."

This is what I think as well.

Mackey shitting himself off the roof was the funniest thing I've seen in some time.  I agree that the lemiwinks story seemed a bit out of place.  When they opened the door in to the music room, I thought they could have done something better (exactly what, I don't know).  After that the episode kind of fell flat, with

It still has it's moments.  Probably the funniest show on TV now.

"only to sidestep it in favor of a more humanist approach"

I liked this episode.  Much better than the last season, and much better than the debut.  No Cuddy, no Thirteen, House and Wilson friends again.  No drama is how I like this show (except when the drama actually meant something, like at the end of season 3).  The new character seems like a nice timebomb.

No?  Unless your looking for it to be.

Yeah, I think the last episode did make the connection pretty specific.  But I don't think there was any tip-off in this one, and given that nearly all previous South Park episodes were devoid of any meta-commentary, I don't think it's wise to view future ones in such a manner.

Why are you people so desperate to relate this show to how the writers feel about their product?  Instead of seeing this as some lame meta-commentary, you could look at the philosophy the writers were trying to advance.  This episode seemed loaded in that department, and it really didn't play out to me as an
