I was going to make the exact same comment, except with a few more terribles, and maybe a couple of expletives. People who complain about the later seasons of Buffy are one thing thing, but in an article that actually recommends people watch Charmed? Nope.

Casting Barry McGovern from Waiting for Godot and various other Beckett shows ("You can't leave. You're afraid to leave. It may be worse elsewhere") as the dying man that the Hound puts out of his misery was beautiful, the best

I completely agree, I watched Argo and could barely believe the shittiness, the "Look ma, I know how to cross-cut!" stupidity of artificially ramping up the suspense, the pointlessness of the family back story for Affleck's character, the horrific cliché of the inconceivably recalcitrant embassy staffer saving the day
