Bojack isn't evil, he just lacks the ability to feel empathy.

The Hawkins people had plenty of Suits and Sedans. Look at when they come up to Mike's house to talk to his parents or when they leave the lab to get El.

Yeah, I think a lot of us have at least one person who could use this kind of speech directed at them. The worst part is, they would watch this episode and likely not even get it. They would probably just think Todd was being an asshole.

But Bojack isn't letting Todd freeload as a "good gesture" — he's doing it because he fears being alone. Like with the Rock Opera, when Todd is about to actually succeed and make it on his own, Bojack sabotages him back into the position where he needs to freeload off of him.

I didn't consider Todd's rant to be one against Bojack's Selfishness, it's about his lack of self-awareness and his inability to take responsibility for his own actions. This probably accounts for our completely different takes on the hypocrisy of his speech.

He wasn't banned for his opinions. He was banned for orchestrating and inciting coordinated attacks of threats an harassment against a specific user.
