I really like the audiobooks. The first 4 are really well done and the narrator does a great job with the voices of each character.

Last week all the talk was about the "worst move ever" of choosing to go to tribal. With the exception of Bill, that move is now relevant since the numbers advantage is not a factor, the old alliance is broken up etc.

You're right on with this line of reasoning. There's way too much stuff in The Hobbit for one movie. He could likely make a pretty good pair of 2 hour movies with just what's in the book. I'd break it up just as they first catch sight of the mountain.

Jake was meant to die all along. Ka - hit by the Ka (maine), dropped into the abyss, saved both times. Maybe the paradox was solved when they brought him through in Waste Lands, but I think it makes sense.
