Yeah, and "I'll Cry Tomorrow" was about Lillian Roth — "I Want to Live!" was the Susan Hayward movie about going to the electric chair.

I watched the episode when it first aired — in a gay bar in Louisville.  I almost cried.  I could not believe something like this was on television.

Oh my God, thank you!  I really liked Kevin Smith until I started following him on Twitter.  Now that I have unfollowed him, maybe there will be time to heal.

Wow, now this is an interview with a real journeyman actor, who treats his professional as a job and acting as a craft.  I had no idea he had done so much stuff.  Really nice interview and excellent glimpse into the life of an actor who just keeps on working.

Straight-Jacket
First saw her in a somewhat horrible movie called "Straigh-Jacket," in which she co-starred with her husband as well as Veronica Cartwright as a tough lesbian agent. I think because the movie was so bad, Carrie really stood out in a funny, funny role. Her scene at the organ still makes me laugh.

Aboslutely terriric
I just want to add to the chorus. I am a huge fan of Random Roles, and this is the best one EVER. Yes, better than Kris Kristofferson, Teri Garr and Margot Kidder.

I did not interpret that scene as rape at all, although it was creeepy.

I was at that concert, too, Drinky and also was initially VERY bummed, but I enjoyed it. At least until the encore, which should NEVER HAVE HAPPENED. That was some rambling mess. And much as I love Lucinda, I also LOVE Auggie Wren's "whacked over the head with a frying pan" comments, because you know it's kind of

Great interview
I am in love with Sam Adams.

Breakfast at Tiffany's is definitely best movie party ever.

I not only dislike Lori the character, but I also dislike the actress who plays her, with the popping eyes. But last night she was a little more likable and sympathetic.

Stan's clothing
Did people really go to work on Madison Avenue in the 1960s dressed like Stan does? I mean, even 10 years ago I was expected to wear a tie to work. I know these guys are sticklers for historical accuracy, but I really don't understand why Stan dresses the way he does. I mean, even when meeting with

It's from her album Somewhere in the Stars.

Absolutely Fabulous
My favorite episode of Absolutely Fabulous was the one where Edina and Patsy were trapped in the living room. I think it is called "Birth." Although there were flashbacks, so maybe it doesn't count. And so many AbFab episodes seemed set in the kitchen anyway that maybe it's a bad example. Wait

But Jason, The Corrections was notoriously NOT an Oprah Book Club Selection. And poor Claire has missed out on so many Jessica Tandy movies.
