I honestly don't think Scharpling was actively being anti-semitic, which is why I called it clueless.

I'm more taking the piss out of Scharpling for what I see as a minor hypocrisy. In his bit where he takes on someone for thoughtless insensitivity to a minority, he is thoughtlessly insensitive to a minority. It's stupid because a) the clarinet does have its important place in Jazz, and b) the fact that Crystal plays…
Scharpling said that, not Crystal.
“Clarinet is a stupid instrument,” he says. “There’s a good chance if you play clarinet, you’re an idiot.”
BREAKING: Stephen Sondheim reveals something that he's revealed several times in the past.
Slow news Century.
Wait, wait, wait, wait. Hamilton wasn't the seventh president. Thanks for fucking with my head, AV Club.
Easy way to get me to completely lose interest: Compare something to The Moldy Peaches.
The removal of the emotion is intentional, the guy is in total denial in his version. The emotionality returns in a moment of sobriety when he's talking about the heist. I am partial to the Hank 3 version. Superior to me, but I can't stand Springsteen.
How about Beefheart's Her Eyes Are a Blue Million Miles?
A melodica is not a recorder.
Is that a Kindler reference?
No love for his Mark Twain documentary? I think it's fantastic.
Gravity Falls is perfect by my estimation. It tells you everything about the show in 30 seconds.
I would put Monster and Trigun in the must see category. Especially due to their respective lengths. Monster is like 59 episodes and Trigun is like 26. I could be wrong, I'm going from memory. Trigun has one of the best endings I've ever seen. Basically, it answers the question of what do you do when you've violated…
I've commented here two or three times so I don't really have any stake in the matter of the snubbing, but "comic geniuses" is one hell of a stretch.
I can't think of anyone I find less funny than Nick Kroll.
I KNOW! I've looked online for that for so long…
