I remember when that episode came out, I was so upset at the continuity problems raised by having both "capital city" or whatever it was called and the real NYC in the same fictional universe, that I disliked the whole episode because of it. It seemed like the Simpsons were jumping the shark by moving from their

I kind of can't believe that somebody just enabled my being too lazy to google something. I don't know whether to loll back in porcine contentment, or weep bitterly at my shameful existence.

I think you've confused this website with one where people are striving to be brave.

Yeah - or there's an episode where he's playing bingo at the old folks' home, and the joyous, smug way he yells out "bingo" gets me every time.

Penguin I know what you mean but for me there's something about the way on the show that Larry seems so amused by everything that happens to him, even when he's getting screamed at he often seems ready to crack up - like when Thor the wrestler is berating him… something about the way you can tell that Larry David the

I guess we shouldn't leave Seinfeld out of all this adulation…

I just realized that above I used "literally" in that annoying way that people do. Sorry. Although in this case I was actually talking about literature, so maybe I accidentally used it correctly? Either way, sorry.

Andy Bernard has had some of the best standout moments you can't help but laugh at -

My short list
Anything written by P.G. Wodehouse. The guy literally could not write an unfunny paragraph — although he has a couple stories about golf and those were dangerously close to being unfunny due to the subject matter, the rest of his 100 or so books are unbelievably fucking funny from start to finish.

Rammstein have had some great singles, and I think they've gotten more interesting over the years. Almost the entire album "Reise Reise" is quite good.
