I think "On Cinema" is a satire of film reviewing (which is why i think it'd be a good podcast for the AVClub to cover), that is tonally consistent with Tim Heidecker's stand-up.  Tim & Neil Hamburger exhibit no appreciable knowledge of film but they don't let that stop them.

my hopes for the inclusion of an honestly descriptive depiction of Hiroshima or Nagasaki get dashed every time a new WWII-based series comes out,  i guess The Pacific was the most appropriate vehicle for that, but i think it's so historically important that i just keep expecting to see it.
