Episode 1
As he has been for some time, Eric was the best thing about this episode. I agree with everything else that was said in the review - particularly that the witch coven sub-plot is not in the least bit interesting, so far.

Episode 4
I am not really thrilled with "amnesia Eric" and glad to see that the spell gets reversed (I think) in next week's episode. He's too childlike and silly - traits that don't look good on Eric Northman.
