The question posed on the "What's On TV" page is whether "Not Fade Away" was better than the _Buffy_ finale.  Well, some may criticize the legwork that goes into setting it up, but look at these comment threads.  Look at the unusually high proportion of people who call it a near-perfect episode of TV.  It seems

Seconded.

For what it's worth, I think _Buffy_ "objectively" (ha) is the better show, but emotionally I might like _Angel_ better.  Or maybe not.  I go back and forth.  Of course, we've got 'em both, so choosing between them is just internet wankery.

[SPOILERS]
Note that what I said was "never truly becomes serialized to the extent of something like an HBO show today."  I stand by that, as long as I can rephrase "never" to "until the last 10 hours."  The S6 occupation arc and the closing arc are clear exceptions in which one episode flows into the next, they tell

It's actually building on the S1 episode ("Vortex") in which the term "Changeling" was first introduced.  So Odo's heard the word before, and is becoming increasingly sure that there are, or were, others like him, in the Gamma Quadrant.  Last time it was third-hand info - a guy I associated with heard from someone
