Yeah, there were definitely more normal sporty types on the teams I played on than bitchy popular girls or tomboys.  As someone who tends more to the latter, I still think depictions of bookish sporty types would itself be a huge improvement!

Affleck looks about 50 lbs heavier than everyone else in the movie, and he's also jacked, unlike anyone else.  He looks like a cop, or a soldier, out of place with the rest of the film.  You'd figure the Iranians would have picked up on that. Tony Mendez is short in real life.

Quiz Show and The Insider are really birds of a feather, exactly the type of movie that doesn't get made enough anymore.

Sometimes things get famous because they're zeitgeisty.  Yankee Hotel Foxtrot was a legend before it even got released, because of the trials Wilco went through to get it made, the battles with the record company, the unintentional 9/11 imagery, and because this documentary was being made.

"Blind Date" went a long way towards establishing the Liz Lemon character and her choice in footwear.  I could take or leave the poker game sub-plot, and the SVU DA blind date was hilarious.
