Yeah you know what a movie about the most horrific conflict in the history of man needs? a cute story with a horse!  I have no interest in seeing this ever thank you.

I mean on a certain level this is clearly true: these people were making it up as it went along mostly and it feels like a lot of these mysteries were thrown in just for kicks and as a little bit of a cheap gimmick, but I think the show was still an incredibly satisfying and built up to quite compelling themes. Yeah

Why did you watch it all the way through? That's quite a time commitment for a constant and intense hatred…

I just have to say that was my favorite AV club article in a long time. Great job Mr. McGee. It's a Christmas miracle! Fourth season is criminally underrated and this is definitely my favorite episode

Yeah yeah I know this message board is dead and all but seriously; where can the show go from here? I am so curious to see how they can build tension in this next season
Just marathoned that season; oh my god that's some fucking quality television

Seattle resents your assessment. We like to believe we could offend the folks in Peoria, but we're just to nice to say it to their face.

Where are the numbers for sale?

Can we get @avclub-faee0cdb03a643d235e16bd014943251:disqus in on this conversation?

I realize no one is commenting on this at this point, but I just rewatched a couple episodes of Lost because I just found the dvd's at a flea market and it made me realize how true this is. Just hanging out in that gorgeous setting with those pretty people and those elusive mysteries… it's just fun. All the same goes

I just want to commend all of you guys for being the nicest, most agreeable, and rational people on the internet.
Bring it in here guys…
*tears up a little*

Sam, I believe he was talking about the list at the end called the "The essentials". Great article, though

If Blankets isn't essential I don't know what is. I need to go reread that now

I completely forgot about this! what an amazing special… magical

More Attack the Block love please. One mention?
I loved Drive, Tree of Life, Submarine, Hugo and Attack the Block (and you should too) and need to see more of the movies on this list..

They've come such a long way from rapping nonsense in Spanish…
*sob*

I don't think Donald Glover is the most entertaining rapper out there, and you're right with this assessment, but I still think he's pretty entertaining to listen to. Hearing a good comedy writer rap definitely has its charm.

I can't tell if you're being ironic about him being ironic about Whitney or not…
