Yes, this was definitely meant as an overview of all of the violence committed by Trump supporters, and not just an update on how that widespread hatred has affected a small slice of the population that relates to the pop culture covered here.

AV Club and 538 have been my oasis this election. I love the AV Club for being so partisan and snarky, because I need somewhere to go to feel like the world isn't losing it's collective mind.

Way to take a pop culture site as a place of hard hitting journalism, you "commenter."

I think in hindsight, after a (hopefully) happy ending, I'm going to wish I enjoyed the crazy ride more. If I wasn't so utterly terrified of Trump, this would have been a pretty awesome 18 months of TV entertainment.

I work from home. That's all I have.

Also, it's very important to vote for the best candidate, even if they aren't in a major party. But, you should ignore that the third party candidates are also terrible, just so long as you're making a powerful protest to the elite.

Me and my college roommate saw this when we were drunk and thought it would be hilarious to see a terrible movie. About halfway through we look at each other and go "umm…is this movie sort of awesome?!"

WikiLeaks needs a better marketing department. Dumping thousands of pages of content every day is just tiresome. Pick out what you think the big hits are, and make a big deal about releasing them. Of course, that assumes there is something big buried in there, and your entire goal isn't just to put a dark veil over

He was pretty brutal to Bernie and his supporters, who are a huge part of his audience.

Vaccines (Don't Do it)

I've come full circle! I was convinced last week we were all doomed. But Dik kept my head above water. Now, watching the new poll numbers roll in, and the enormous early voting turnout from "certain groups" I'm so, so excited for tomorrow.

Well, Oliver spends weeks researching his topics to provide evidence to his claims, and changes his mind if conflicting evidence warrants it. Trump isn't paying a pollster because he didn't like their results. Yeah…this is a super tough call.

My mother, a middle class woman in a suburb near a major city, told me to take a close look at Hillary's wardrobe. "As we get closer to the election, you'll see it becomes more and more Muslim. She'll be in a full scarf by the end." She was serious. One of her friends introduced her to Infowars a few years ago, and

You know there will be waaaaay more N-bombs on his rap debut.

But the number one predictor for supporting Trump is not your geographic area or economic level, but if you're concerned with increasing diversity in your area/country. The median income for a Trump supporter is higher than that of a Clinton supporter. I love visiting rural parts of the country, so I agree that

Not really. In the past the two populations might have disagreed on the proper solution to an issue. Now you have one side proposing a solution, and one side saying you just made up the problem so you can impose more government. Facts have no place. Just look at the video of Trump condemning Obama for attacking a

Lots do. Also, there is not currently a rapper running for President. Also also, the most offensive Jay Z has done in the last few years is that pathetic "can't take my daughter for a walk" verse on Holy Grail.

I laughed. Shit, was I not supposed to?!!11111222

As a resident I hope so too. We've been blue since 2008, and I think we squeak another one out. Trump's celebration after the Pulse shooting didn't go over so well in the I-4 corridor.

Vox did (and usually does) the same, and I was equally horrified. It's one thing for your idiot friends to do that in Facebook, but how can a large media company possible accept that?
