Sorry I don't know anyone else besides the people I know to better bolster my scientific method.

I have coworkers in Europe, Asia and Australia, and all of them heard about it and have commented on it.

That's close to literally what you said.

The "left" that I identify with and socialize in considers gun laws one of the most important issues at all times of the year. It's just that right after a tragedy is when the NRA and their political minions declare that the topic is off limits for…reasons.

Heavily invest in education in rural parts of our country. Which will be viewed as government brainwashing by the people that need to be educated.

I live in Orlando, and very familiar with the SoDo area and have many friends that are Pulse regulars. So…this one does affect me for being in a specific location. Orlando is a tiny town, especially the downtown area away from the tourists. You're never more than 2 or 3 degrees away from seemingly knowing everyone

Not true. They introduced the world to Dawes.

I don't know about easily. Gawker is a garbage fire of a website, but Thiel is a garbage fire of a person.

I believe that's not how you meant it, but it is absolutely how it came across, which was the primary issue with the Sanders campaign. Everyone involved was so sure and so passionate that their platform was best for everyone, but they were really, really shitty at messaging to anyone that wasn't in their core demo of

I'm sure they'll love hearing they could have made the right choice, if only they weren't so uneducated.

Yes, we only want to support the white bourgeoisie. It's why Bernie did so well with minorities.

You don't have a time machine? Where's your precious science now!

I can't imagine anyone that played the version of Reagan that he did on Fargo supporting any other cult of personality GOP nominee.

She's putting more distance between herself and Trump, with about an 8 point spread now.

Those poll numbers can be explained almost entirely by Sanders supporters saying they refuse to support Clinton and Clinton supporters saying they have no problem supporting Sanders. And Clinton is getting huge bumps now that the primaries are done, which was anticipated all along.

I'm certain my mother doesn't know what Snopes is, and am pretty sure she has no idea what the word cabal means. But she probably would say her friend Tammy told her Obama made the news plant the false stories, and she's a way better source than the NY Times.

I try to avoid the outright partisan sites, even when I agree with their politics. Most of my political coverage comes from 538, which is lots of math people going "Odds are Clinton clinches by x date" with lots of "SHILL! ROT IN HELL NATE SILVER!" as a response.

I also didn't think he was a great candidate, but was leaning towards him. He had one issue, one that I agreed with, but that was it. He was OK, but not the messiah his supporters elevated him to. I have no qualms with my choice.

It was tilted in her favor in that she's been in the public eye for 30 years. Young people don't watch network nightly news, and all their news sources (Daily Show, John Oliver, etc) were covering him.

This is my thing. I guess I could see the theoretical appeal of a loud mouth asshole pushing people around, if you're that sort of alpha male asshole. But to claim he's standing up for the little guy is absurd. These people would fucking HATE this New York elitist if he was their boss at some small rust belt company.
