VFD!

I prefer the story with the pickpocket the narrator picks up. Oh, and the one with the giant sea-turtle. The Henry Sugar story itself was phenomenal, but "The Swan"… I still don't understand what the fuck that story was about.

Danny, the Champion of the World disappointed me. I thought it was going to be about some kid strongman-type thing; no, it's about a boy and his father who shoot lots and lots of birds. Kind of disheartening to have them be the heroes of the book. :-(

what? :-O

Just look at the Doctor Who episode "The Talons of Weng-Chiang"….

Yes… @Patrick_Batman:disqus made that same mistake.

Same. :-(

…you win this round, Handlen.

Nay, tell me not to-day the publish'd shame,
Read not to-day for once the journal's crowded page,
The merciless reports verbatim, still branding forehead after forehead,
The guilty column following guilty column.

Wait… so, like Br'er Fox and Br'er Bear? Fascinating…

Looks like you picked the wrong day to start drinking!

Wait a minute… you're @avclub-4b0732dd2e072509479e21645ba653b3:disqus, yes? Not Dr. McCoy?

Dewwing-do?

Good luck. We're all counting on you.

He'll probably come crawling back to SNL…

…they what? :-O

So, you're a Midwesterner? Neat; I'm an Northeasterner. :-)

I've heard good things about it. I'm more surprised that there are still such things as video rental stores where you live…

"This party's over" is from Attack of the Clones.

What are the main differences, for you?
