Funtown makes Water Country look like shit
Zack, what part of Maine are you from? I hail from one of the Berwicks and remember the Funtown well. I may have even attended when you worked. Also, my name is Harold.
I love Eurovision
The combination of terrible songs, the pretense of cultural education, and the fact that nobody really agrees on why it still exists make it all hilarious. I don't really enjoy watching it at length, but I'm really glad something this silly is still out there somewhere.
"Little old lady got mutilated late last night." Is there a better alliteration in all of song?
I love that this movie has an intricate plot, and a great protagonist, and they really don't interact in a lot of critical ways. Re-watching it, my favorite thing to pay attention to is how wrong Walter is in all of his reasoning, but he's right anyway. He never has any evidence that the kidnapping isn't what it…
Fits right in there.
has anyone else noticed that in this movie, The Dude does nothing to move the plot forward? What is the plot, anyway? All he does is deliver an empty case to some fake kidnappers and generally annoy everyone in LA. I love this movie so much. Stay out of Malibu, deadbeat!
man it's quiet in here
Echo!
I feel like a kid just knee'd me in the stones.
Who cares?
Since when can you raise awareness for anything by playing golf? I have an image in my head of every golf course closely resembling a Flomax comercial.
Overthrow your whole citadel
I read in Rolling Stone that Seth Rogen was more excited to be making a movie with The RZA than he ever had been about another project before. It didn't even mention Adam Sandler. It was at that moment that he sold me a movie ticket. I would be even more excited if RZA did the score.
concept and execution
To my way of thinking, a grade of a film should represent how entertaining and enjoyable it is. Not it's overall rank compared to all other cinema, but how successful it is at being an entertaining work of art. Reviewing movies based on how well they execute their artistic concepts (as Josh does)…
it ain't hard to tell
will the baby be half man, half amazing?
The Immaculate Collection was my first favorite record. the most played songs on my ipod:
1.Nas - It ain't hard to tell
2. Madonna - Like a Prayer
your lifetime pass expires when you expire.
but he's the RZArector!
RZA gets a free pass in my book. I don't care how lame Digi Snacks was or how much of a disappointment The Cure is going to (probably) be. His vision of the Wu-Tang Clan, and the amazing fact that it was actually realized, outweighs his later-career slack. A genius is a genius, even long after…
(insert The State reference)
I'll finally be able to laugh at all the references in the comments for every article about The State! although now that the DVD is out, there might not be much to talk about for a while. Interesting.
condolences.

I think we can all agree that the general was a strong design influence on the soldier in TF2. Those art directors have a lot in common with Brad Bird.
