@vandermonde— I believe that film is called "Cloverfield."

Hayden Christiansen has never made a decent movie. Natalie Portman has. End of discussion.
So, how long…
Until some well-meaning boutique house like Overture decides to remake this in English?
Millenium Actress
Is one of my favorite films. I was really looking forward to seeing more work from Kon— he reminds me so much of Charlie Kaufman. I'm so sad about his death.
None TV-owners who still watch Tv unite! Hulu, if you charge, I will still find these shows. How could I possibly do that?
I'm so, so glad I left Glee right after the hiatus. In my mind are only happy memories of a show that wasn't entirely ridiculous and that seemed to end on a good note.
What's with magic colors?
I read another book (I think by Brandon Sandersson, who is now doing Wheel of Time) where people who could see colors had more magical powers, or some such. It was tedious, I dropped the book 100 pages in.
This all looks terrible
And anything that looks semi-tolerable is definitely one-step away from cancellation. What was all that about the new golden age of television?
I'm reading them in trades and finding it a lot better than an issue-to-issue. But damn, I hate the wait. I think it might be best to do both— read the issues, then go back and read the story arcs to pick up on what you missed.
Pushing Daisies
She may be dead, but Ned and Chuck will live happily forever after.
CancerAIDS.
Has everyone forgotten how bad this season's Dalek episode was? Is it just me? Did it get negated by the time cracks?
So I guess,
There's no point in making a purchase this week.
This was my thought as well.
Spirit: Stallion of the Camarrion vs. Spirited Away
I also saw a screening— I had the feeling there's a great miniseries in their that would need the budget of Pushing Daisies and never gain an audience.
Stop reading them, then!
Here, here for Kitchen Nightmares UK! The US version sounded like it should be good, since we have so many different types of cuisine. But FOX sucks.
Yeah, LA doesn't really have a pizza style. But I've found a few places that are pretty good. Nothing like an East Coast place, but pretty good all the same.
It will get worse
There's a new show in the works that's the reverse of Beauty and the Geek, where a bunch of "nerdy" girls are transformed for hunks.
