This was an excruciating mockumentary
The concept behind this was great as was the effort and the potential but it was poorly executed and after the first hour became a painful example of why actors aren't writers and why only few can ad lib for a two hour film. The moments that are meant to shock the audience or

Chris Lilley is awesome as is Shaun Micalef. A great aussie comedy film- The Magician

did you ever see "The Break Up"? I was surprised by that in terms of romcoms. It was sort of like the alternate ending you desired in that it was slightly more realistic albeit, much more depressing.

I'll live with my sister for a year and pass out on her stairs…
Despite my crush on Jim Gaffigan, this film was frustrating.

as a woman
I will see all romcoms and dance flicks. All I have to say about this one is, "THE MAIN GUY COULDN'T DANCE!" I don't see this shit for the storyline or acting. COME ON.

For the brief moment they fought I close my eyes and imagined it was the AD movie

You didn't think Ramona was slightly pixie girl at all? She has no family, changes her hair constantly, rollerskates everywhere and is always the unattainable. Granted there's no running down corridors or playing crazy made up games together but she felt a little MPDG. Perhaps it's the dyed hair and wardrobe that gets

I don't think that people don't understand it, I just think people who say it's great haven't seen a good film for a while or investigated scifi. I concur though in that I didn't think Inception was as good as people say and found the end quite tedious. It seemed as though Nolan was just obsessed with having three

Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film?
*Spoiler (sort of) alert*

really? Hathaway was great in Rachel's getting married and that wasn't that bad.

Thank you. I equate blood toxicity level to laptop battery time in which case, it doesn't worry me until it only has 13% remaining so the poison part was pretty lame and who cares when elements are made so easily.

absolutely

This season had a montage episode
and I watched it and said nothing. This episode was the better of the last lot. Can't help feeling this season is looking tired.

this is killing me
Treme won't be released here for ages

I also find him endearing/sexy Mimsy. He said in empire he was focusing on fatherhood… I didn't know whether to be upset or turned on.

aw
I just saw this last week and loved it. I think superhero/comic book movies have their own rating system (much like James Bond movies) and I thought in that category, Kick Ass was worth much more than a C+.

I also hate that it takes months for Australia to get these films =(

I loved Helen Mirren in this and I thought James McAvoy was great. Noting everything written in the review, I wasn't actually that bothered by the on the surface approach to Tolstoyan philosophy. To be honest, I don't think that it was the focus of the movie and didn't interpret it to be a main point either.

I cared. I cared a lot. I cared so much I wrote it here. Right now. No, I don't know. With the lead in a sweet film like As It Is In Heaven, it's hard to watch him in something like this.
