It also led to an amazing subplot on that one episode of The Sarah Silverman Program where Steve discovers that Brian isn't actually into metal at all, and in fact the only song he actually listens to and enjoys is "Two Princes". A montage of Brian Posehn skipping around merrily listening to that song more or less

Double Indemnity

I caught it (Batman Forever) on cable a month or two ago, and yeah…it has not aged well. At all. It has the putrid stench of 1995 all over it. That being said, I agree, there's no way it's worse than Batman and Robin.

That's meeeeeee!

"I feel like I'm sitting on a nuclear BOMB, waiting for it to go off!"
"I feel like that too!"

"Old Dogs". It's like what would happen if David Lynch tried to make a children's film. Everything  that is supposed to be funny and cute just ends up being weird and upsetting and makes no sense. If you approach it as an abstract horror film, it's actually really entertaining.

"I'm sheriff Gene Freak!"

And you know what they say: love is blind!

Koyanasquatsi!

Batman Forever really is a ridiculous movie, but in a much more enjoyable way than Batman and Robin. I'm really glad they devoted time to the wimpy security guard and what an incompetent boob Commissioner Gordon is—the scene where he accidentally cock-blocks Batman in his PJs is one for the history books.

NA-BIS-CO! "You're dead!"

Based on the trailer, Restless almost looked like an over the top parody of manic pixie dream girl twee bullshit movies like Elizabethtown and Garden State.

Have that removed.

Define 'teenage'.

She's the Donnie Brasco of right wing nutjobs!

Quiet, you!

Cool, thanks.

Ultimate example of that type of film: Garden State. I would love it if they tore that one a new asshole.

I think they reviewed it last week, yeah?

Nice, that's probably Kannberg's best song. I never understood the vitriolic hatred that PSOI inspired in people, their first record especially is pretty solid indie rock.
