I'm disappointed that after all the build up of imminent doom for Theon, I mean after all the warnings they even rip a line straight out of MacBeth when he says he's gone too far to turn back- after all that we only see the iron islanders take him away.

    He's the new Sean Bean.

They should have worked out some severance, made him a silent partner, or promised to use their substantial connections to give Lane a golden parachute and a new home (granted, it'd be hard to spin a story about a partner who all of a sudden wants a lesser job, but enough people owe Roger and Pete favors)

Hey, Glenn isn't a nutbag anymore. He's a cool dude. In a couple years he'll probably be one of the few thousand people who bought The Velvet Underground and Nico.

How do you fire a partner? If Lane's name is on the door, he has equal share. They could, of course, have him prosecuted by the law for embezzlement, but then word would get out that Sterling Cooper was a ship infested by rats.

@ThePaganTemple:disqus  What's really shitty is that Paulie was ostensibly the underboss. He technically shouldn't have to run a crew anymore.

Which isn't saying much at all…

I wonder what the deal was with Walden. Just a random tertiary character who turns out to be one of the better soldiers around by the end.

Murmur is a well liked associate, not an outsider. The dude is a mobster and would love to get made. Hell he probably did end up getting his button after the end of the series. By that point the dude even would've made a better capo than most of what was left of the family. Faint praise, I know.

I disagree that the episode portrays the Hollywood douchebags as worse than the mob. In fact I think this episode depicts all the characters on the same level. Artie and Chris are just as status obsessed as the people surrounding Kinsley and Bacall. The portrayal of Ben
