Patty's an interesting character. She's certainly not funny or whimsical like Jean Weir is, but she's more than just a nag. Also, we have to remember that we're seeing her through Angela's eyes.

Did we ever see Judith? I kinda thought she was an unseen character, but I might be wrong.

Good point. Hadn't thought about it that way. That is a really fascinating element of Kim - she could certainly be considered a bad influence, and she isn't ashamed of who she is, but at the same time she doesn't want people thinking about her in that way. It's like she knows she's kind of stuck in her position, but

Well, yeah, of course there are. But to me it seems like they were pretty heavily implying that Millie would have gone down a dark path if Kim hadn't confessed to killing the dog. I don't know. "Rampage" is probably the wrong word.

The thing is, TV writer-types are much more likely to be Lindsays or geeks than they are to be Daniels or Nicks. So I think that's probably why those characters are slightly more detailed than the others.

Ugh, in high school I got so many "Why are you here" kind of questions. It sucks because you're uncomfortable enough going to something like that, and then that just makes it worse.

Same. I mean, I was invited to a couple parties here and there, but I wasn't a drinker, so whenever I got there and saw that that's what was going on, I pretty much just left. Such behavior led to even less party invitations.

Well, don't forget, that almost happened in "Dead Dogs and Gym Teachers."

Eh, I don't know. I was such a non-entity in high school that I kinda think I wasn't on anyone's radar enough for them to want to be truly cruel to me.

Ugh, God, this is painful… One time I got a nosebleed and I freaked out and basically yelled at the teacher that I had one and then ran out. I later found out that they all laughed once I was gone, so… wonderful memory.

Well, I think Daria and My So Called Life did a pretty good job with high school stuff, though those are different approaches.

In my opinion it's a pretty crappy song, but it does work perfectly here.

The yearbook in it is so great. So many awesome little details.

Me too. Junior year of high school I was really kind of lost in terms of my identity and all that. I watched this show and Daria that year. I latched onto to both of the main characters like crazy, and I'm still probably residually doing so, to some extent.

Junior year of high school, I decided that it would be a super idea to ask a girl I barely knew, but was kinda attracted to, to the prom. I managed to spit it out, and she said, in a really sympathetic tone, "I will… but only if you can't find anyone else." Suffice it to say, we didn't go together. But to make it even

Then, after she does… "Lindsay, can it!"

My feelings exactly.

This show is one of the only shows where I really do scream and yell at the TV. I'm pretty sure I was shouting "Kiss! Kiss!" at the end of last week's episode, and I was definitely making some weird enthused squealing sound at the end of this one. That's definitely a compliment to the show.

"Partridge" was actually Orange, California, where I go to Chapman University. The building Ben was standing in front of at the beginning was the school's auditorium, and the place where the ceremony was is right next to the school. I saw them filming a little bit, it was pretty cool.

Really liked this one. It was funnier than it has been recently, and I honestly suspect they're building to something really good with this Dalia thing. This show has had an uneven season, but I feel like it'll end really strongly.
