Never thought I'd say this after season 1, but American Horror Story has had a better year than Homeland. Both shows are completely ridiculous and over the top, but only one of them seems to be aware of this, and as a result is having a lot more fun with it.

When Assassin 2 of the Super Scary Assassins* is following Dexter in his car, he calls George up to tell him Dexter's heading to the port. What prompted George to go there? Bad writing. Or an offscreen epiphany caused by being punched in the face by Quinn. So, bad writing.

This show has gotten really dumb, but this was one of the better episodes of the season. At this point all I really expect from Homeland is to be entertaining and suspenseful, and other than the interminably dull Brody family + Mike scenes, this episode accomplished that.

Linking to Jezebel should be a bannable offense.

Can't wait for Mike to go to Jessica with another outlandish accusation about Brody based on little to no evidence only for Brody to immediately confess once Jessica brings it up. "Brody, Mike says Abu Nazir and you are lovers..is it true?"; "No"; "Brody you can't lie to me anymore. He says he found a message from Abu

Man, Season 3 was Breaking Bad at its best. How could you not want to have "One Minute" and "Run" in your life?

I think there's a difference between being a horrible human being and going out of your way to take responsibility for a mistake you've made at the cost of hurting the people closest to you. Also, of all the people involved in the accident, she probably has the least to lose (I think..I don't know what the laws

I really wish you guys wouldn't take HDB seriously. It only encourages him.

I thought of that article too. With Alicia and Cary's initial reaction to watching her perform, I was hoping they'd take the easy way out and just make it clear Ricci's one of those terrible, faux-edgy comedians and have everyone roll their eyes and begrudgingly tolerate her attempts at being outrageous throughout the

Yeah, I'm sorry, but not even Louis CK could've saved the abhorrent material they gave Ricci to work with here. I guess him showing his tits would've been funnier, but the failure of that plotline had nothing to do with the "authencity" or lack thereof of Ricci and everything to do with the writing.

Pretty good episode brought down by the therapist's performance. I'm not familiar with her work on The State, but most of her acting here resembled someone trying way too hard to get a laugh out of a studio audience that did not exist. Made me realize how tricky a role like this can be and how good some of the other
