Pretty good episode brought down by the therapist's performance. I'm not familiar with her work on The State, but most of her acting here resembled someone trying way too hard to get a laugh out of a studio audience that did not exist. Made me realize how tricky a role like this can be and how good some of the other

While I think you're not giving the writers enough credit, I do agree that Steve's analysis of Ben was a bit of a reach and his theory about public servants was trite and clueless in a "television critic can't figure out why others may have more noble goals; uses hacky psychoanalysis straight out of a bad tv show to

Yes, I'm saying Mystery of the Urinal Deuce is nowhere near being one of the worst episodes of South Park, and is in fact quite enjoyable. I just rewatched the first 10 minutes to make sure I hadn't gone crazy and yeah, it's still pretty funny.

This episode was awful, but your choice of Mystery of the Urinal Deuce as a barometer for how bad South Park can get is baffling to me. That was a decent to good episode with some great laughs and I had no idea anyone thought of it as being some sort of low for South Park.

It's in her contract.

I didn't mind the gunning down in the store because I wasn't expecting it. Also, it looked pretty cool. The Mike storyline, on the other hand, achieves the unfortunate feat of being completely fucking stupid and utterly predictable at the same time. It takes him and the psychic drunk, what, less than a week of real

McKinnon is a clearly talented performer, but they really seem to be pushing her into the Kristen Wiig role (especially earlier in the season) and I won't be surprised if a year or two from now people will have the same complaints about her as they did with Wiig.

Sudeikis has really grown on me over the years and I think he can be very, very good in certain roles, but yes, impressions are definitely not his strong suit. I don't mind the Biden impression, but his Romney is awful and the less said about the Trump one the better.

Nah, you're not trolling. I guess I can't argue about most of these beats being "well-mannered" (Backseat Freestyle and Compton being the exceptions), but I think there's a difference between production that is polite/soft and production that is moody, and this lies firmly in the latter camp for me. I have no idea what your definition of a "hot beat" is, but as someone who prioritizes production and flow over lyricism (especially for the first few listens), I'd suggest listening to the whole thing instead of scanning through it. Every aspect of this album sounds better when taken as a whole and this
