I think a nervous laughter is what was being sought. It was played straight because the perpetrator was a talking Jellybean; the comedy was derived from the absurdity of the situation, i.e. George Carlin's Elmer Fudd raping Porky Pig.

I disagree. Looking back on it, I think the scene fits perfectly with the absurd nature of the show.

Well, then why don't do a trigger warning for every other type of traumatic situation people face that might possibly be incorporated into the show? I don't mean to come off as hostile, but the reality is that there are all kinds of traumatizing and dehumanizing forms of violence besides sexual assault.

Jesus people, the kid's being almost raped by an anthromorphic Jellybean; if anything the comedy is derived from the absurdity of the situation.

A wacky scientist's young boy side-kick being almost raped by an anthromorphic Jellybean pushes the boundaries of good taste in your opinion?

Did anyone else find this review extremely pretentious?

Roger returns to his home planet in a future episode this season; I'm assuming he's going to get Jeff, maybe w/ Hayley accompanying him.

They could do more with her character. I mean, Stewie's not constantly trying to take over the world or kill Lois. It'd be nice if she wasn't just a verbal and sometimes, physical punching bag.

Calm down. It's a cartoon. Nothing to get worked up over.

I wish Meg would fight back more, instead of just passively taking what her family dumps on her.

You're not too familiar with the show's humor, are you?

I don't think FG's jealous of BB; they were just making a joke about the hype of that show and the Wire.

Dude, you are being too sensitive. It's a cartoon. If you can't stomach the content, then maybe you shouldn't watch it. This late in the game you should know what you're getting yourself into. Hope I didn't come off as rude.

I don't understand how people claim to take offense to a show's content and yet continue to watch week after week.
