No, no. The best films use visuals to make you laugh, cry, gasp etc. Catharsis, just like the ancient Greek dramas but with better technlogy. This one makes you wonder why the set designers and CGI crews are geniuses but the writers are lazy tools.

That's about right. He does very similar stuff to Alien and 2001 and Jurassic Park. Script is genuinely bad, sets are gorgeous. Don't bother if you can't see it in Imax 3D.
