How can spend three or four years and  over $100m and phone in the script and think it will be OK because of the sets and effects? Without sincere human…

Agreed. I went because my 17-year old asked me (which doesn't happened every day) and my wife (his mom) looks a lot like Sigourney Weaver, so I have fond memories of Alien 1 and 2, though haven't seen either since they first came out.

Yes, and Piecar, it's one thing to be purposefully ambiguous (which worked nicely in the opening sequence) and another to be a lazy writer who won't have his characters run 50 feet to the left to avoid getting smooshed because the movie is already 1:50 long and we have to wrap it up.

Not quite clear who owns who on a day-to-day basis. Clearly, Nissan is much bigger outside of western Europe regardless of who has more of who's stock.
