Dang, I'm sorry about your cat.  Did you have it for a long time?

What's your favorite?  I only saw Paprika a couple of months ago and I felt drunk with delight.  It's nice seeing non-Disney, non-Pixar, non-Ghibli animation!

Caligari blew my mind into a million bits.  You have to check it out!!

Hope you're enjoying your new job and that people are treating you well!

Shin Ramyun, yummm…!  So unhealthy, but so delicious.

Yes, I think you may be right about that.  Really well made movie.  That kid Coppola sure knows what he's doing.

I know, I just felt with all the infidelity.  I'm sure I sound all uppity, but really, I liked most everything else about it!

I'm so glad to hear it's on spotify!  I'm not quite sure how I dug the Nazia Hassan.  I was definitely watching Bollywood clips on YouTube, but I started out with more old school, less Western-influenced jams… I suspect "Jimmy Aaja" from Disco Dancer may have been involved.

Aw, I liked Mama.  Of course, once I got home from the theater and started reading stuff about it, it hit me that it had loads of story gaps.  So I agree it wasn't perfect, but the ending really got to me.

Yeah, of the ones I've seen it's my favorite.

I didn't know where to go next with Wong, so thanks for the rec!

Oh, I thought he was talking about that Cranberries song.  But since he was talking about folk rock, I must have assumed incorrectly.

Been really busy.  Watched a few movies, though:

Weird, I never thought kkangpae was an official term for the Korean mob.  I always heard it used as "punk" or "thug," something low in the criminal hierarchy.

I felt weird about Rayna's sister too, but don't forget that much of the aggressive campaign efforts on her part were to please their father.  Rayna hates her father, but her sister is clearly very devoted to him.  There was at least one instance during the campaign when Rayna shows up for an event and says she's only

Are you enjoying using GreenCine?

I'm sure there's a cobbler convention trying to get DDL as host…

It hadn't even occurred to me to think of the 3D.  What an odd project give it the 3D treatment.

I really love Once and I've shed a tear or two before because of the uplift, but this time I felt so sad for the girl's struggle with her husband.  When she says she played it for her husband and he hated it, I wept and wept and wept.  I was so surprised at myself.

I think it took me until the third ep to really laugh at something in the show when I saw it the first time around.  It was when Nathan is finally trying to get it one with Claire and won't shut the hell up.  It was so dumb, but played out perfectly.
