Christ Foo Yung fucking killed me.

I saw them at the Middle East Upstairs between the second and third albums - the room holds about 150 people, and there were easily 400 in there. I've never fought through my claustrophobia for anything better.

Yeah, back then "everything" meant "I listen to Shania Twain AND Sublime!" I own stuff from almost every genre, but sure don't listen to them all regularly.

For years, I had the Mike Patton/Merzbow CD in my car specifically for people who would say they listen to "everything" and then I would test that theory.

No, even earlier than that - Statik was in middle school in Exeter, NH. I had a show at the University of New Hampshire. Also, Lawrence had Scientifik, who unfortunately passed away before his career had a chance. We had him in studio when his 12" "Jungles of Da East" was out. One of my favorite records from that

Wow - that's a long time. Statik Selektah was listening to MY radio show in 1993.
(No, really, he was. I found that out last year. I had the hip hop show on the college station a town over from him.)

I already have the Juliana Hatfield pre-ordered. I'm looking forward to that one.

He is THE. GREAT. EST. RAP. PER. A. LIVE.

I may need until the 9th.

I actually really like the Wreckers project. I thought that was fun.

I like Freddie Gibbs. I think he's talented. I think he's good for hip hop.

Because the beat is average at best, but Kendrick makes it fucking knock. Your classic mumblerap asshole would expose the weakness. MikeWillMadeShit again.

Listening right now, actually. It sucks that there's snow here on March Fucking 31st, but it's actually a good backdrop for this record.

I would never use Kendrick as a gateway. Good Kid.. is a tremendous concept/story album. To Pimp A Butterfly was great once, but I don't replay it much..

I liked Fever Pitch when I read it just after college. I am a lifelong Red Sox fan, and I HATE THE IDEA OF THE MOVIE SO FUCKING MUCH (I never actually saw it) that it ruined the book for me.

I don't know if Runaway Jury is a "good" movie, but I watch it every time it's on. I think there's a great ensemble cast in the jury room.

Shit, I totally spaced on the Raekwon. I'll have to get to that later.
I like the Kendrick track.

I don't dislike Casablanca, but L.A. Confidential is my favorite movie of all damn time.
