For some reason, the sushi restaurant I was in last night had Bad Boys II on multiple TVs. I couldn't turn away.

If you've ever heard the Jean Grae mixtape "Cookies or Comas" (which was supposed to lead up to the album "Cake or Death" that never happened). DJ Drama keeps calling it "Cookies or Commas".
Yeah, I was B- on this one as well. Good episode, probably won't seek out rewatching it, though.
I've said this before, but Frank's Little Beauties is one of my all-time favorites, not just for the episode itself (which is terrific), but also for what I imagine were some incredibly awkward conversations involving 6-year-olds telling their grandparents that they were going to be on TV, and then having those…
Also, when the question is WHAT'S POPPIN'?
Remember, he's on the Lyricist Lounge compilation from back in 1998, and for a couple of years his hip hop record was coming out on Rawkus "soon" - which, of course, never happened and became a running joke for the next 8 years I worked in a record store. So, at least at one point in time, he was writing hip hop…
I really liked the De La on the first listen, but after the second one, I'd cut about 10-15 minutes from it. Still much better than a lot of what came out.
Right? I didn't know what Ashley Green looked like outside of those movies until last year when she was on the cover of something, and holy shit - they almost deserve credit for the amount of work it took to dial her down below Stewart.
Even though it isn't on the commercial soundtrack, if we're talking movie music, I loved the use of Coltrane.
I steadfastly refused to watch any of these movies, and would leave the room when my wife did, until the Rifftrax came out, and then I had to see them. It was even better than I imagined - these movies are absolutely perfect for Rifftrax treatment.
My wife watches these movies all the time, but makes sure to call me in the room whenever Ashley Greene says "Powering up for the battle." No idea why I find that delivery of that dumb line so sexy, but I do. And that's my confession.
Can I make this train fly?
Will this give me tinnitus? (It's a club disease)
I love both artists, but back when there was a bit of a beef between Esoteric and his camp, and El and his camp, Esoteric had a record going after a bunch of the Def Jux crew, called "Mercy Killing" where he had the line, "Revolution ain't them beats you record/ Sounding like my girl's cat when it walks across my…
Only if J-Zone brings Chief Chinchilla with him.
I don't think you're wrong. Although, I would put the Big Boi appearance among the best in their catalog.
I had this fun game over the past year where I would run road races, and try and get as many photos of me making the gesture. I think the photographers think it's an obscene gesture, because almost none of them get emailed to me. I haven't gotten a really good one yet, though. When I do, I'll actually buy it just…
That Stretch and Bob track is amazing, but the beauty of it is lost on people who weren't around during that prime Stretch and Bob era. But if you had those tapes (or copies of copies of tapes) in the mid-90s, the nostalgia is at a high level.
El-P mentioned on Twitter that there's an original version of this that will be released. Not sure they didn't improve upon whatever that was, because this mix bangs.
Boston in February for me, and I'm counting down the days. I knew when I saw them last at a smaller club, that the crowd would explode for Oh My Darling, and it did not disappoint. Now it's a sold out House of Blues, and the intensity is going to be amazing.
