Absolutely..it was my favorite part of the book, and when I saw the movie in theaters and it wasn't there, that was the second biggest disappointment about it (after Laura…not a strong casting choice).
I was happy to see the DVD scene, and that they at least filmed it.

Even earlier. I was a junior in college in 95-96, which was the first time I had cable in college, and it was on all the time. And my roommate and I watched it every time, and he even paid 70 bucks for the VHS for me as a graduation gift…remember when VHS moves cost that much?

When he showed up on Bones as Brennan's brother, that was the link I made.

All of the above are true statements. I love Airborne. But Mitchell Goosen deserves every second of bullying he gets.

Come on, no MC Ren appearance? Not in the trailers, and now this? The man earned more respect than he's getting.

Would Radio Friendly Toilet Shitter be too redundant?

It's one reason I'm pursuing my Ed.D., so I can teach in college where I *can't* talk to the parents about their kids. "Sorry, they're 18, can't give you that information."

That "Officer Jones" line was the perfect way to end that segment. Brilliant.

I know - I almost threw one of her lines in my post, until I realized it wasn't in episode 1.

Just watched the first two, and I'm pissed I didn't start them earlier. I'll knock out the rest tomorrow.

I very much enjoyed Barricades & Brickwalls and Wayward Angel. I actually got to meet her through a label meet and greet in Boston, and I remember being smitten with how genuinely giddy she was that she got to experience snow.

I have a friend who was born James Brown, and changed it to something not James or Brown because he figured it was easier.

I was at a post-race beer tent this weekend, where the cover band attempted the Hendrix version. It struck me at how many local cover bands try to cover this (and other Hendrix songs), and do a capable job until the guitar solo is supposed to kick in, at which point the guitarist remembers that he ISN'T JIMI HENDRIX,

I was too late - it's been pulled. I'm sure a TSwift Cease & Desist is responsible.

Like Josh, my first memory is Mike Watt-related. I got to interview him for my college radio station when he opened up for Primus after the Hovercraft/Foo Fighters tour. Watt was also a great interview, but in it he was very complementary of Grohl by way of saying that he didn't think the Foo Fighters would last,

Jigga who?

You didn't like "Tap The Bottle"? No, you shouldn't have.

Only if you mention the original with the Steve Miller sample. The re-worked version on later releases is absolute shit.

It has - but that wasn't clear to me at age 14 in 1989. Doesn't change the effect it had on me.

I'm not *quite* old enough to remember the impact of Belushi's death, but I am old enough to remember my father talking to me about it (I was 8 years old). I did read the Belushi biography as a freshman in high school, and can tell you it had a profound effect on me to the point where I credit it as a large part of
