Lyanna Rhaegar flashback. COME ON BRAN.

In the case of the Godfather, that's not a bad thing. The Godfather was not a great book.

Or it was stillborn?

Not sure if joking, or confused with Ron Perelman, who was married to Ellen Barkin.

Though it is pretty overcast in these shots, and probably not a lot a daylight. Of course with years long winters, you wonder if it follows similar rules as our winters. Longer periods of darkness in northern climates. (Of course when does winter start? Northern hemisphere winter starts astronomically December 23rd,

Interesting thought, could Dany be a "fire wight" in the same sense as Jon and Beric, due to the fact that she should be dead as well. She never really said what happened in that fire that birthed the dragons. What did she do in there while the pyre burned?

Of course, a great joke from one of the later seasons was when the chair gets destroyed in the middle of an argument between the two, and Frasier ends up going to great lengths to have an exact replica custom made, with the kicker "It's now the most expensive piece of furniture in the apartment."

In advance of our soon to be new Kinja overLords, Skyler Gisondo (Deegs) should be renamed to Sklyer Gizmodo.

Well played.

That's fair. There's one episode where he was at a place in Texas that did lots of pork sandwiches, once called a Knuckle Sandwich. Guy talks about how he uses that phrase, and sort of acted peeved. I read that as faux-mocking himself, but I could see how others would take that as self-promotion.

Seconded. Whenever I'm in Chicago, I try to eat at Frontera.

I was with you until the last paragraph.

Standard Diner in ABQ. I ate at that place before it was on DDD. Some really well thought out classically prepared food.

Ha! Watching people eat is always a little weird. Humans are disgusting.

Shrug is probably the best response. Not everything is for everyone. I just try not to fall into the trap of where if I don't like something, I look for reasons to justify my not liking it, in some sort of quest for self-righteousness. This is especially true on something as trivial as a someone on TV who eats food.

Meloni in Scrubs as the Pediatrician with the Puppet Fetish is one of my favorite guest stars on any TV series.

I remember Super Market Sweep and used to love it is a kid. This version isn't as good, but DDD is still good no think television.

Not dismissing it, but the main source for that story also comes from the same source as the "Guy is a homophobe" story, the producer Fieri fought with over control of the show.

His schtick gets a bit tired, but the redeeming factor of the show is that he focuses on local mom and pop shops, many of whom are trying to be responsible businesses in terms of freshness and farm-to-table, and many of which are owned by first and second generation immigrants. Also he does show a lot of places where

For me, it's a good emotional/visceral reminder that we are still social animals, despite our growing digital distances.
