Relapsing-remitting MS is considered the "good" kind, although it's different and unpredictable for everyone. I have it too — we're discussing it in a thread above. Good luck, and take care of yourself.

My great-grandmother has had MS since at least the 1940s, and she's still alive and able to walk unassisted at 90, which makes me hopeful about my prognosis. She has Alzheimer's, so that's something I definitely will watch out for.

MS attacks aren't always super dramatic. If you have health insurance that covers a medication, you really might want to consider it. MS still can be causing damage in your brain and spine, even if you don't have symptoms. I had MRIs a year apart on the medication, and this past year, the disease showed no progression

@avclub-81f9c5d05b38e97bc1000e06526c2557:disqus  I'm also in Houston! If you have to be sick, this is a pretty good place for it. I think there's a private messaging function here, so feel free to send me a message if you want to. If nothing else, I can recommend a couple of great specialists in town.

It's not fatal, although in some cases, people eventually die from MS-related complications. I have relapsing-remitting MS. I was diagnosed a little over four years ago, and it sucks, but it's not the end of the world. You adjust and live your life. My treatment regimen (note to AV Club editors: my nervous system

We had 5-pound flour sack babies. The "father" asked the teacher to pair us up because he had a weird crush on me, then insisted on taking care of the baby all by himself. I think we got a B and didn't lift a finger. And I've remained happily childless ever since.

I was at Comicpalooza too - our shop, 8th Dimension Comics & Games, had a booth there. I didn't get a chance to see Chris Yost's panel, but I heard we got a shoutout and Yost apparently said FBI Agent Bulloch, who is based on my husband, is supposed to recur in SCARLET SPIDER. I did get to see some of an Arc Attack

I don't buy that Coulson is dead. Boy, Tony Stark is going to be pissed when he finds out he's been emotionally manipulated!

It's probably PG-13, but a soft one. There's very little onscreen blood or naughty language, but plenty of "fantasy violence."

I've read those articles! They're fun.

She's pretty kick-ass in this. I like to think this is what Robin Sherbatsky's REAL job is, and the TV news thing is just an elaborate cover. That's how she could land that helicopter a few HIMYMs ago.

I saw Clash of the Titans (the 2010 one that spawned this one) at a drive-in. I mostly remember having fun because we brought our dog, and we got her a hot dog, and she was really excited about that and generally adorable about the whole experience. And when the movie was boring (most of the time), I could play with

Two episodes into this season, our DVR just stopped recording it. We didn't cancel the recording, and there was no conflict, it just refused to record The Office anymore. "Fair enough," we said, and never looked back.

My junior high choir teacher showed us The Blues Brothers in class. I might never have known about a lot of the music and musicians in that movie, and a lot of related ones, without that experience. My parents weren't fans of good music as a rule, so I had to stumble into everything.
