Thanks for the info, I didn't know anything about Bill Trinen before reading your comment. I am a huge Nintendo fan though, so I'm all for anyone who is capable of helping them be successful. He actually seems perfectly likable. I was just making a dumb joke, nothing personal towards him.

The Nintendo guy they had in the video explaining how Amiibos work made me think of the DirecTV ad with Rob Lowe and the creepy, cable-having version of Rob Lowe. Except the guy in the Amiibo video was the lamer version of Neil Patrick Harris. Or maybe it was just his voice.

Did anyone else besides me decide not to give You're The Worst a chance due to the constant and extremely annoying ads for it during episodes of Fargo? I guess I could have just recorded the show, and then fast forwarded past them. But it just felt as though they were nearly impossible to avoid (although I do like

Strangely enough, hardly anyone ever uses the proper full name when discussing this classic Pulp song:
"For Every Elf Living in Nebraska, Grilled Cheese and Lava Lamps, Erectile Dysfunction, Land of Volcanic Eruptions"

WTF is everybody trippin' about!? I don't see no stinkin' A+!

Lead singer: Boner Champ, of course
Carl 1: lead guitar
Carl 2: rhythm guitar/backing vocals
Broccoli Rob: bass guitar
And last but not least, on drums: Doobie

I agree with Che boludo that Jimi's best songs are the more "short but sweet" ones. I love Foxy Lady, Manic Depression and Fire in particular. I do also enjoy some of the ones where he jams out live. I remember when I first heard Live at Winterland that his version of Sunshine of Your Love blew me away, and also

I agree, "noodling" should be reserved to describe guitar playing by hippy jam bands like the Grateful Dead and Phish. Jimi Hendrix was an absolutely innovative guitar player. And Hendrix was also such a brilliant performer that groups like The Who (and probably the Stones, too) feared the idea of following him on

This is off topic, but I'm just wondering if A.V. Club ever covered the death of Robert "Throb" Young. He was one of the original members of Primal Scream (started out on bass and then played guitar). Not complaining, but it's a little weird when I find out about something like this on Facebook, yet it doesn't get

It seems Ms. Nizewitz has been receiving a lot of public exposure from her appearance on the show.

You don't say, a brand-spankin' new BMW! Well, shit-balls! Last Wednesday I got a check for $666 from Satan for taking a monster dump inside of your brand new BMW!

"I have many records, books and films featuring people who have taken their own lives, and I regard them all with a bit of disdain." I wonder whether Henry Rollins personally investigates the deaths of every single artist who has ever produced any type of art that might potentially be deemed worthy of his most

"Despite a horrible name…" I like to refer to the show as "So You Stink in Your Pants". It's even more fun if you say it while impersonating Cat Deeley. But all kidding aside, I do enjoy watching the amazing dancers on SYTYCD doing routines I would only be capable of achieving in my wildest dreams.

"The NJ Turnpike is a death trap on the best of days"…
This made me think back about what happened to Claude Coleman Jr., the former drummer for Ween. I found an article in like two seconds that specifically mentions the New Jersey Turnpike in regards to a fatal accident caused by the same truck driver who crashed

"Meditation as a preparation for death"? Not that I'm any type of expert on meditation, but I didn't think that was what most people practice it for. Maybe if your focus is something like the Tibetan Book of the Dead. http://en.wikipedia.org/wik…

I posted about it in the comments last week because it jumped out at me when Malvo said the line in the preview for this episode. I had to think about it for a while before it clicked. Just something about the use of "if you're still feeling raw" made my brain (eventually) flash on Uma Thurman saying almost the same

Nice review, I look forward to playing this.

If you watch the preview for next week's episode, you hear Malvo deliver a line that's pretty close to a quote from the movie Kill Bill. ("If you still feel raw about things when you heal up, come see me." vs. "When you grow up, if you still feel raw about it, I'll be waiting."

You have a good point there. I might want to change my prediction to say that Molly is seriously wounded by the bullet, but she'll pull through o.k.
