Yeah, and predestination is as lame a device as time travel often is. So Bran had no choice in afflicting Hodor, nor anything else in his life, because it was already laid out by fate/time travel/magic.

Do we know what secret the High Sparrow told Tommen that he was going to relay to Cersei? Or is it supposed to still be a mystery?

I've been getting upset at how easy it is to assassinate any lord/king with no repercussions. Apparently they have no poison testers, no bodyguards, no castle security whatsoever. And if you kill the lord, in front of witnesses even, you get to just take his place rather than being tried for treason.

Alec Baldwin should be a panelist, Jimmy Pardo should host.

I'd say White Blood Cells was more their breakthrough album, while Elephant pushed them into superstardom. White Blood Cells went platinum and had heavy MTV play…that's when they started becoming famous as part of the garage rock movement of bands with "The" names: The White Stripes, The Vines, The Hives, The Strokes.

Plus this kinda stuff is so rampant in LA's and SoCal's culture that it's probably a lot easier to be influenced by people telling you about it than it is elsewhere. There's lots of famous people we otherwise respect that go on juice cleanses and such.

I thought this was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I seem to recall he strongly recommended crotch shots in real fights as well.

Are any of the elements mentioned different from 1000 other turn based RPGs, many of which predate Pokemon?

Time isn't linear, particularly on a show that features time travel.

The notion that everyone already has an extensive Beatles collection is kinda absurd. For one thing, the population age 14-25 is huge on acquiring music, and many of them are constantly just discovering old music and building their collections. Or there's tons of people who just want good value out of buying one

When it first came up, I thought the Mr. Belvedere song was just a moment of silliness plus a callback to the Cheers song. But now that I've watched the whole miniseries, and am looking at the lyrics, they really tie into the whole story.

Yes! He's always got to mention who wrote or storyboarded an episode and why that makes it good or bad. I'm sure he even looks it up before he watches the episode, which biases his opinion. Personally, I have no idea which writers were involved with which episodes, and I really don't care - I just watch them on their

"That’s not the storytellers’ fault. It’s just the sophistication [of the audience’s ability] to figure things out. It’s like, we’re up against this incredible creative algorithm.”

Action movies make a ton of money in the international market, even if they're low budget. I know these aren't purely action movies, but enough that they'll turn a profit even if crappy.

Last season featured Finn's existential crisis, This season so far seems to feature Bubblegum's. In the previous episode, Finn asked her if she even missed the candy people, and she shrugged. And in this episode she talked about how the candy kingdom used to be small and manageable, but now it's so big with so many

Well it's got a killer bass line. And I kinda think that if the same song were performed by Prince, people would praise it as genius.

A lot of good ones here.
I thought Drag Me to Hell was super-overrated…it was decent at best.
28 Weeks Later shouldn't make this list.
High Tension should be on here.

He's not stealing Kyle Kinane's look; that's how half of all young male comedians look. And how any hipster that's not skinny looks. Just the style of the time.

I hate the caption contest from both an artistic and a comedy standpoint. Loved the Roz Chast full page cartoons that were frequently featured on the back page before the contest's inception.
