Now wait just a minute, Todd. Are you implying that any of these fine new comedies NBC has picked out might not usher in the new 90's that we're all absolutely convinced is about to happen for peacock? Did I just get my hair done up in "The Rachel" for nothing?
If rumors start spreading that one may make it while the other won't, I expect some bitterly partisan battles happening in the fields of the AV Club comments. (I raise my flag for Parks&Rec, personally.)
Bah! Meant to say "the networks" there.
No tears on that notice. I like to imagine the networks seeing Levi (and the show Chuck) as this annoying sperglord at their party that won't just go home already when he's clearly worn out his welcome, instead letting the full force of his annoying, but incredibly tiny fan base keep finding excuses to hang around.
Seriously. The notifications are pretty much worthless if they will ping a "Mad Men News Update" in an article where the show is only referenced off-hand to mock the audience reaction to a completely different program.
I think the point wasn't entirely that her being nude left nothing for him to detect, but that he couldn't think clearly enough to do so with his raging hard-on…
On the other hand, you could also see it as an attempt to get all the 'shippers to back down and admit that Holmes and Watson aren't a gay couple.
Oh shit, Luke Cage! How did he slip my mind? I could see Michael Jai White absolutely knocking that character out of the park. (Though White has personally stated that if he could play a Marvel super hero, it would be Black Panther, who he images as "Barak Obama who'll whup your ass." Honestly, him doing either of…
Okay, here's something for speculation: Which, if any, other Marvel heroes might be added to the Avengers lineup in the future? No X-Men or mutants, obviously, as Fox still has their option. Same with the Fantastic Four (even though they would be a great fit for an Infinity Gauntlet story). No Spiderman, as…
Alternately, a SHIELD movie with Fury, Hawkeye, and Black Widow. I imagine that it would end up being like a regular spy movie turned up to 11.
Infinity gauntlet would definitely be a good conversion for a movie. It pretty much already works for segmenting off parts of the team so they can go on their own adventures that can fit better into their own genre. I imagine we can start looking more for gems to be dropped in as easter eggs in the various individual…
I have a feeling somebody at Warner Brothers is getting thoroughly lashed for firing Whedon off Wonder Woman. Now that we've seen just how well you can build a mega-franchise around superheros and superteams, they must be pretty pissed that they can't seem to make money on anything but Batman.
Yea, she seemed fairly well grounded and generous. However, I can't help but feel like she'll be one of those celebrities that ends up declaring an embarrassing bankruptcy in 2020 or so.
Believe me, give up on the Slate gabfest. It'll be hard to do, but after about two weeks of withdrawal, you'll suddenly find yourself markedly happier and feeling better about the world.
This article explains a bit more about what happened at the live show: http://www.thedailybeast.co…
Apparently when they were filming PhiPhi's fake win, there was a wardrobe malfunction with her outfit as they were putting on the tiara. I'm hoping that footage makes it out into the world.
Well, WIllam admitted to smoking weed in the bathrooms during the competition (that being completely legal since she has a California weed card), and I wouldn't be surprised if that was the thing PhiPhi was so pissed off about on Untucked. Willam seems a bit too calm to be on Tina during the competition.
Never having seen this, and never intending to, I must admit that reading this review on a headful of acid gave me a more pleasurable viewing experience that I have gotten from the SyFy network in years.
Ah, Ovation: bringing quality high art programming to dozens and dozens of people since 1996!
