Also, that was definitely the best possible song for Latrice to lip sync to. I'm starting to think that she really will end up winning the whole thing, despite being a big queen. The only times she's been in the bottom two have been times when the song was perfectly suited for her, and it seems like she's getting the

Is it just me, or does Hyden's anger about Jason Mraz being a "dorm-room guitar-slinger" (and Koski's general acceptance of Mraz) basically play out like an adult version of how all college kids view the acoustic-guitar-on-the-mall guy? All the guys just HATE him with a vengeance, primarily because all the women are

Wow, with Kate McKinnon on SNL and Jonny McGovern filming a pilot, it seems like the Big Gay Sketch Show is finally breaking out into the mainstream. They've come a long way from when Amelie was ripping into their terrible, terrible publicity photo on this site many years ago…

In previous seasons of Untucked, you could see the queens listening to iPods that have the lip sync song on them during the Untucked episodes. I believe they get those sometime before the runway and basically give it as many listens as possible before the judgements are made.

Willam coming back, lip syncing with PhiPhi, and then sending PhiPhi home would be the best possible outcome imaginable.

Latrice's lip sync was the moment when I really, truly believe that she has a chance of taking it all home.

Oh, but the PhiPhi comeuppance will be so very, very sweet. I just can't wait for the tears in her eyes as she's writing on the mirror.

I was a huge Tatianna fan, and couldn't stand how terrible Raven was to her. Unfortunately, Raven was the better queen in the end so everyone forgave her for it and let Tati come out as the villain.

It seems that Sharon is now taking back the torch of PhiPhi hate and will carry it into the real top 4 (or perhaps even the top 3, but I'd hate to see PhiPhi make it that far).

I'm a huge Andrew Niccol fan. He's got a lifetime pass from me. It will be interesting to see what his cold formalism will end up doing to what I'm sure it an absolutely terrible script.

This show seems to be the nexus of overlap of gay culture and black-lady culture. I keep hearing my friends talk about it, but haven't had time to check it out. I guess a Netflix binge weekend will be coming soon…

Damn you, VanDerWerff!

Forget asking an astrophysicist about the space ship pushing the space station, how about asking a biologist just how inbred everyone on Mars would end up if they all came from 1 women (or even 4 women). If I remember correctly, to have a properly genetically diverse human breeding pool, you need no less than 12 women

The lesson here: don't comment while drunk.

Yea, it's sad that Willam had to go, and I think this season is going to be less fun because of her absence. I think we can all agree, though, that it's time to get aboard Team Latrice! Jesus Biscuits all around!

Funniest thing about this article: I'd say at least a quarter of the places you mention aren't really music venues. Perhaps the epoch of SXSW-ness is every indoor space with a liquor license suddenly throwing up a PA system and a stage to turn into a "music venue".

Yea, @avclub-c2772fe942fe1bdcf0fec5d508dd6e23:disqus hit it on the head there. As a completist I don't like looking at an ever-increasing number of unplayed episodes. I guess I could just unsubscribe from some of the podcasts that over-update and then check our the specific episodes that make the best list here, but I

Yea, it's definitely a loud show. If you can make it through the first half hour or so of any episode, though, you'll start to get into the rhythm of it, and then it just starts to click and become completely hilarious.

Personally, I would love it if more shows kept to a once-a-week updating schedule (or maybe one episode a week and then a few mini episodes, like Extra Hot Great). It's not that I really have fatigue with any particular show or personality, but I'm subscribed to 17 podcasts, and the OCD part of me that wants to listen

I think Maron was right in his critique of Heisler's piece. There can seem to be a podcast overload for those of us who are deep into the medium, but for the vast majority of people they haven't even begun to scratch the surface. Once (if?) podcasts become easier for the general public to access, the mini-boom we're
