You know what, maybe I should go ahead and say it. Maybe the three of us should do a re-watch somehow. Post on the old articles every Saturday? Anyone else who wants to is welcome to join in.

As always, your posts are without equal. I think we're more or less on the same page. I agree there's no one else for either of them. I guess I was thinking more along the lines of putting them in a place where their relationship was before they were together, maybe wanting to be together but not being officially

I wouldn't say either, necessarily. I'm probably taking my time, savoring, trying to understand all the nuances. There are a lot of episodes I haven't seen. I don't know. I figure it'll probably take me (I hate to say it) nine months or so. Been averaging about an episode a night. I'm blazing through the first season

Make sure to provide a link.

Yeah, that would be cool. Here's what I posted yesterday on the All the President's Men thread:

Haven't seen it since it aired, but I love The Rain King by the way.

After finishing Season 9 and the second movie, I've gone back and started at the beginning, with plans to watch the whole show for the first time in its entirety from start to finish. And I'm only on Ghost in the Machine on Season 1, but I've really been surprised too. It's a lot stronger than I expected it to be.

Yeah, each issue's been pretty solid. And Jordo, as a fan of the Topps run, they're definitely up there with those early issues.

Honestly, I went in thinking the movie would suck, but was pleasantly surprised. (Maybe that was why I liked it as much as I did. I wasn't expecting much.) I watched it again for the first time since seeing it in theaters last weekend and, while I still liked it and still thought it was solid, I did get a little tired

I'm a fan of the later seasons and of the comics especially, but I definitely wouldn't consider myself a shipper. In fact, I've often wondered of ways to ret-con the relationship or break them up and have them maybe work together begrudgingly at first, maybe pine together here and there, but put it aside and work

I think it helps that in the scenes in the episodes I'm talking about, Reyes looks hot as fuck. Maybe that's part of it. In any good movie you kind of want to be the leading man and you want to hook up with the leading woman. So maybe I'm projecting my attraction for Reyes in those scenes onto Doggett? (Just thinking

Great idea. Everytime I watch a mythology episode, I'll read the deconstruction of it. Again, what a resource.

Yeah, I didn't know whether Jump the Shark should be under Mythology either. Regardless, still probably my least favorite of the season.

I cannot like this enough. Just beautiful, beautiful stuff. Like Bigtits was talking about upthread in regards to Eat the Corn, this just makes my understanding of the show so much better, and in turn, makes it better.

This will probably not be popular, but my thoughts on the season, ranked from best to worst.

Yeah, God bless that guy. What a tremendous resource. To me, the mytharc makes sense, but only if you don't look at it too closely. When you do, there's all these little odds and ends and inconsistencies. Eat the Corn really explains a lot of stuff and irons out a lot of those little kinks and provides a lot of

Love everything you said, but I would, and I know I'm in the minority here, respectfully disagree with the thing about Doggett and Reyes not having any chemistry. I think they've got chemistry when they're flirting in 4-D. I think they've got chemistry at the beginning of Audrey Pauley.

I didn't keep up with Season 9 while it was on, but I did tune in to the finale when it aired and before re-watching it a week and a half ago could remember a handful of things from it. I could remember Mulder in some complex of some kind crouched on a catwalk and I could remember the CSM hiding away somewhere in the

Your earlier point about how, even if Leno's able to match his NBC ratings on CBS, they're still not that great and have no chance for growth is a valid one and one I hadn't thought of. But I would still have to respectfully disagree and say I think Leno's a possibility. He probably wants to come back somewhere anyway.

I don't hate Leno, or anything, but my thinking is twofold. One, CBS is the old people network, right? And wasn't that Jay's audience on The Tonight Show? Second, Jay never struck me as the type of guy who was happy not working. I seriously doubt he wanted to retire. So that's why I could see them maybe going for him
