This will not be cool, and I said it the other day, but I could totally see Leno stepping in.

Yeah, I read Ghost Rider last weekend and really enjoyed it. And you're right, the double page title was awesome. The idea of Ghost Rider with a car is just such a great hook for me.
Incidentally, after following AV Club's coverage of Season 9, I went back to watch X-Files from the beginning and found Deep Throat to be a really solid episode, much more so than the Pilot, for example. I can't help but watch Unsealed: Alien Files on occasion and whenever I do, can't help but think X-Files would've…
Nice avatar. Love the Krycek Mulder shot circa season two.
Several years ago when I was watching Letterman, one night he blew up a bowl of nacho cheese.
For what it's worth, that's kind of what I see happening. I mean, you know Leno doesn't want to retire.
Just wanted to chime in on how much I agree. Was talking to a friend of mine the other day singing the praises of Quantum and talking about how much I hated Skyfall. I could talk for twenty minutes on what I hated about Skyfall. . .
Why not go ahead and go one step further. I mean, they've gone this far.
Yeah, I've read that one. I thought they were redoing it.
AV Club still planning on covering I Want to Believe?
Loved for, "The scattering of the ashes, The Doggetts seem to have it down. Walter and the Dude not so much."
Watched both of these episodes last weekend, and though I've been a pretty big fan of Season 9 overall, I can't say "Release" was one of my favorites. Seems like whenever it comes time to offer up explanations is when the series fumbles the ball. I understand the need to resolve the Luke storyline, but I wouldn't call…
Yeah, I watched it again recently and couldn't help but wonder why McConaughey didn't try something different. I love Dirk Pitt, but I think it'd be difficult to make work. The skills he showed he had in True Detective surely could've come up with someway to get it going. Anyway.
For me Darabont's draft was goofy at the beginning and at the end, and had some goofy stuff in between, but was just so much better. How Indy came about the crystal skull, the chase on the campus watchtower, the whole 50s communist thing. And and appearance by Sr. The dialogue was hokey in a lot of places, and it…
Yeah, you could tell so much of part four was a soundstage. Just terrible.
Jon Hamm.
Anybody who enjoys Season 10 oughta dig out the first 12 issues of Stefan Petrucha and Charlie Adlard's Topps run from the early 90s. I just finished reading those and I really enjoyed them. There are six stories (if I remember right) spread over 12 issues, all part of the Aquarius mytharc exclusive to the comic. (How…
Has been fun talking about these episodes. And I agree, it's nice to see people coming from a place of enthusiasm and love for the show, even when it wasn't at its best. (Though on the whole I've thought Season Nine has been pretty good so far.) I stopped posting on here for a few months since it seemed like someone…
For what it's worth, I've found your Season Nine fixes to be really rewarding. So keep deciding and keep fixing. Maybe IDW should get Kessenich to write my Doggett/Reyes spin-off. Or, better yet, maybe you should write it.
Read your entire comment and found it really rewarding. Love your rationalization about Mulder's leaving being a way of leading the bad guys on a wild goose chase so as to protect Scully and William. Also love the callback to "Anasazi" in the idea of giving William up for adoption. Great thinking, really adds a lot to…
