I'm not sure why it would be important for an asexual person to identify someone as their romantic partner. Seems to me, people who you love and enjoy spending time with but don't have sex or any other physical interactions with are just your friends. I think your "good friend" is only as asexual as she thinks…

I have never heard more of her music than what can be heard on a promo for Ellen, Live with Kelly& Michael, etc. Her appearance bothers me though. At times she strikes me as a child with a bunch of make-up on. Other times I think she looks eerily similar to that thing in "Splice".
