I would add Sam Rockwell's bonfire script reading from Seven Psychopaths to the list, about the funniest thing I saw in theatres this year.

Thanks for covering the show Emily. You did a great job on your reviews and were clearly a fan of the show, even if the letter at the top didn't always reflect unfailing devotion, which it shouldn't. I enjoyed reading your insights, and, fuck it, I liked the recycling theory.

I did not suffer through reviewing That's My Boy to see it place so low (or high). Granted, about the only other thing I saw on this list was This Means War, which was definitely not as (but still plenty) terrible. But I suppose that's just splitting hairs, or whatever the applicable bad movie version of that phrase…

I like the bold choices on your list Tasha, but do not envy having to submit them for public scrutiny. It makes me feel more assured about Looper being my favorite this year (although hearing other commenters say the same doesn't hurt)

If Arrow has been flirting with its influence from The Dark Knight Trilogy in past episodes, this week was the full-blown bareback consummation. And I loved it. The sheer balls you need to not only rip important plot points from each of the Nolan films, but then also decided they’d be best used in a Christmas episode,…

I can be a sucker for the "awww" moment in the right context, so Tom handing Jerry the bundle of money and telling him they stowed away a dollar "every time we did something mean" was a hallow point bullet to the fuzzy centers of my brain. What I love about Parks is how subtly it can drive home a really great…

Leslie is a Gryffindor. Diane is a Hufflepuff. Tammy is clearly a Slytherine. Therefore, by process of elimination, that must mean that Ron is a grown ass man who doesn't know what the hell a raven's claw or a hairy potter is.

Can't say this one was even close to an A for me. They really undercut Helena's character by making her drive more the result of emotional instability than any sort of code, as evidenced by the nauseating game of "who's trauma is worse" at the graveyard, which was some of the writing at its worst. She's in a…

I'd call this review a shameless late-season awards-bait for The Commies if it weren't so fucking perfect.
