You could argue he's being an ass in how he's handling the Asamorra thing but at least he has the sense to know that hormones need to take a backseat when a violent revolution is taking place right

I appreciate that Emily is delineating the differences between the shows because it's a great test case of taking two different approaches to the same universe. Like her, A:TLA didn't really hit it's stride for me until midway through season 2, when the main plot starting taking over more. But I cared more about the

Unlike Firefly, AD, Party Down, and FNL, at least the BTD high bar set by season 3 is so low that just having the cast enjoying the one-hitter in a car for 90 minutes would be an improvement. Actually, that's pretty much all I ever wanted that show to be.

We'd finally find out who Tango and Sundance were partnered with! I'm guessing Riggs and Hutch.

Most scenes in this show are basically just a game of smirk tennis ("I've got the upper hand and zinger! No wait, I do!"), and the vapid, "isn't it cool how rich we are" intro chips away at my soul every time. But I've still watched every episode.

Word, just started after plowing through A:TLA over a month. I can't tell if i'm disappointed animated shows of this quality weren't around when I was a kid, or I'm glad that I'm old enough to actually recognize what makes it so good.

And it just clicked with me that that was in the book. Kudos Beinhoff and Weis for attention to detail with regard to equine feces. This completely vindicates Dany's wild-dragon-chase in Qarth, except not really in any way shape or form. Her story barely changed this season, give or take a box of plunder.

Mad Men would really have to to fumble it's finale horrendously to change this (Don and Betty re-marry! Roger dies! Pete gets what he wants!) but otherwise an agreeable ranking. Spartacus was pretty banger in season 2 though…
