In past comments, Cuba has been suggested as a far better option. Beaches, an easier language to learn, closer to the U.S. But alas, "poor Martha" strikes out here, too.

I've got to agree. I'm thinking it might be too dumb to watch. The reviewer says "The teens make every boneheaded move you’d expect of them," but no, they far exceeded my expectations.

I was not grossed out. There's good in Chick. Call me crazy.

A-plus. I am gobsmacked by this episode. The tenderness between Norma and Romero throughout, culminating in his understanding and love for her after learning of an experience that a lesser man would have felt had "tainted" her. Chick kissing her cheek—even he was moved by her. And elsewhere in the show, I wish Edwards

I was so hoping he'd comb it after showering.

Madison? It's not your effing boat!!! If I were Strand I would kick her off so hard.

Didn't it look like a standard appendectomy scar? I figured the tall tales about how he got it were just a joke.

    Love that show.

Norma's expression upon seeing the newspaper photo of her with her husband and other members of the community at the winter lights festival … She lit up. Vera Farmiga is so damn good.

Full sympathy for Strand. The people he saved are acting like stupid ingrates.

    Finally someone says it.

I found myself having a lot of sympathy for Frank. I cheered for him when he told Claire he had conditions as well.

And I was thinking, sell it! Sell it! Since the historian/appraiser had deemed it so valuable.

This is the episode that took me to loving this show. All the broken people, with Meyerism clearly a sinister force. How is Eddie going to deal with Miranda's suicide? (If that's what it was.) This experience will make it much harder for him to write off the claims of the ex-cult woman he's been meeting.

I think it will be revealed that Hawk is adopted. They are a blended family, some members biologically related, others not.

Yes, he is young Heath—-but I think his performance is quite good thus far.

On the IMDB cast listing, Aaron Paul's character is Eddie Lane, Michelle M. is Sarah Lane, and Hawk's last name is Cleary. Maybe it will turn out Hawk was adopted?

I agree. And I think it also had the funniest scene of the series so far—-the fake argument in Axe's office.

Will take its place alongside Enlightened and Terriers on the "Too Good for this World" shelf.

And this show made me love Norma and Romero. I love them. This is gonna hurt so bad.
