Right before it happened, I was thinking how nice it would be if the senator had a heart attack while banging the waitress, and that those circumstances would be all over the news.

I love John Clare. That is all.

I think he was wonderful in that show. Check it out. (And not just for him, it's a great series all around.)

I can't believe the East Germans would be quite that clueless in the face of a Western-made computer.

    Creepiest mother since Gillian Darmody.

Never a good actor? Did you not watch Friday Night Lights?

I am not getting the whole Petra thing. That's a male actor, right?

    YES.

List of handsome, gifted British actors who seriously botch an American accent: Matthew Goode, Charlie Hunnam and, now, Gethin Anthony. I assume that the dialect coaches used by Hugh Laurie, Idris Elba, Aidan Gillen, Matthew Rhys, Clive Owen and countless other stealth UK/Irish actors were all unavailable…

His accent is truly a disaster. So distracting!

It could only be justified by being absolutely hilarious. Which it is.

Pupok is not dead. He is Helena's familiar and will reappear without explanation.

"Now nut up and lead me to the Cyclops." The writing on this show…

That scene was glorious. Just fantastic.

    Chekhov's gun. Pavlov's dog. :-)

But seriously, what demographic are they aiming for?

    Lem forever.

"and you're kind of a schmuck." Yep, he said that, too.

Hannibal is definitely nightmarish. You might try The Knick (on Cinemax) or Rectify (Sundance, available on Netflix). They're both excellent. For super dark, sudsy fun, I recommend Wentworth, an Aussie women's prison series available on Netflix. (I watch too much TV…. :-) )

I think he meant Max Thieriot, who plays Dylan.
