I can't wait for the inevitable "11 memorable uses of Pontiac Aztecs as taught by pop culture" write-up!

I got the feeling that Walter and Lydia are going to gang-up to get rid of Mike, as they both have a mutual dislike of him, and her train robbery idea earned herself a reprieve with Walter. I suspect that Lydia feels that her only means of getting herself (and her daughter) out of harm's way is to turn Walter against

Hmm, perhaps you're right. Re-watching it again on my shitty monitor it's not totally clear, but on my first viewing I was pretty certain that it was missing from his left. I am probably looking for something that isn't there.

Yes, he had it on in Hank's office. But he took it off when he was burying the water tanks, as I'm assuming he didn't want to accidentally lose it (hence Skyler's "burying bodies?" question.) Which leads me to believe that in the flash-forward Denny's scene that Walt and Skyler may still be together after all, as

Apologies if this has already been discussed, but when Skyler asks Walt if he's been "burying bodies" when she notices that he's not wearing his wedding ring, did anyone else think back to the Denny's scene in the first ep where Walt is also seen without his ring?

Well, what exactly prompted Walt to give Skyler the "I'm the one who knocks" speech? Admitting to his terrified wife that he's the REAL threat? No other benefit or reason than pure ego.

Interesting theory, but I see Walt eventually disclosing Brock's poisoning. His ego is getting to the point that he would be willing - perhaps even proud - to throw this in Jesse's face to prove that he's been playing him like a puppet the whole time.

I've mentioned this before, but those movies also feature actors/deceased villains from Breaking Bad:

Someone mentioned wayyy down on the thread (mild spoilers!) that Vince Gilligan admitted in an interview that Walt bought the machine gun to "protect someone else".
