Keep in mind that Jesse included the watch receipt for Walt, telling him point blank that "he could return it" if he wanted to. So why bother with the bug? Anyhow, anything can happen with the show, so any theories are possible.

Right. Because when Walt implicitly warns Jesse "not to smoke that" when he first  hides it in the cigarette (leading Jesse to flip it in the pack) he was TOTES JOKING, BRAH!

Jesse's so blind with devotion and trust to Walter right now (especially after tearfully admitting remorse for nearly killing him) he has no reason to put a bug on Walt.
