So, day in the life movies, and today is Friday. And yet "Friday" was not today's choice.

So badass I can't figure out how to pronounce that first name.
Just keep an eye out, they come in bunches. I kind of like how they give out F's, which is to say rarely, to reserve the grade for what's truly the worst of the worst.
Is that actually a good thing?
So I think what I'm learning from this list is that so far I'm failing pretty badly at seeing non-blockbuster movies in the theater more this year. I know ultimately it's on me, but I do work a fucking fuck ton, even more so than usual this year.
Biggest regret for me so far is Upstream Color, esp since it was at the…
No taunting at all. I tend to fail as well, as the previews in the theater are generally unavoidable. It's great when it works though.
Vaguely?
I haven't. For movies I really want to see I try to skip as much advance info as possible to go in fresh.
In fact even the other day I clicked on a story on io9 and saw a drawing of one of the monsters and regretted it right away.
I love trailers for corny shit, but I avoid them at times for movies I'm hyped over and…
Question: do Hunnam and Elba speak with their actual scottish and british accents? Or are they your standard heroic Americans?
I had heard back in the day it was American History X that did it. Though since then it's come out that the director was truly batshit.
Weren't there even a few movies that wanted to retroactively take the Towers out of their movies digitally? Not sure if anyone did it. But yes, you are correct, I fucking loved how bold it was at the time to confront the issue head on.
Great write-up today, and a really good selection for this week that I hadn't thought of. I actually saw this movie in the theater, and it still sticks with me. At the time, Philip Seymour-Hoffman was the stand out actor, though everyone was really good. Even Tony fucking Siragusa was decent.
I would like to nominate this post as best O'Neal ever.
Black Annie may answer that question for us. Just as Black Annie's remake partner Will Smith found out from After Earth.
Ok. I suppose one potential difference here is quantity vs quality. Obviously can't argue quantity, my basis is purely on the quality, trying to properly assess skills, as it were.
Hypothesis: Jay-Z, while being a dynamic performer, entertainer, and entrepreneur, Jay has never been that good of an MC. He's the most overrated MC of all time, and never had any business on any Top 5 all time lists, or probably even a top 25 for that matter.
After Hours prob tops my list of Scorsese movies I still need to see. I've covered most of his work, but haven't seen that one yet.
Possible choices for the rest of the week:
That's why you should have Hailed to the Chimp.
I think we should add Ralph Wiggum as George Washington in "I Love Lisa."
