Good point. It's easy to forget now that Favreau was a strange choice for Iron Man at the time, which was the first straight up 'Marvel Studios' movie after the rights were sold collectively to Disney. And of course Favreau had to fight like hell for RDJ, who I thought was the perfect choice at the time, and boy howdy

A.A. Dowd - trolling his own commentariat since…. well, how long has he been here? Since then.

The main reason I'm intrigued by the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy is it's being helmed by the director of Slither.

Dowd's highly unnecessary, mini-reviews of old movies embedded in current reviews is pretty annoying.

I really wish I hadn't watched that. It made my head hurt in many different ways. If I say anything I'll be here ranting until tomorrow. So in summation:

Easy way around that. Pretend like you're in high school like all these talented actors will be doing, then sneak in!

Dinner for Schmucks was amazingly disappointing.

Yeah, my suspension of disbelief on who could really still be in high school only stretches so far.

There will be a way around it. Sounds like Tits & Glass already found it. I mean, look at something like Chat Roulette. You find a way for people to talk, and it's instantly flooded with dicks.

Pretty slight interview here. Almost bland, one might say.

I heard Perlman say somewhere else he bugs Del Toro about it every time he can. To paraphrase: 'you conceived this as a trilogy. you owe it to us, yourself, and the fans to finish this.'

You could use the same description for just about every Del Toro movie, and I mean that in a goid way.

I think they asked him last time. He's done these before.

I've heard from a lot who say 3 is the best. Watching through there certainly makes sense. I haven't heard much either way of opinions of 4-5. As long as we all agree that 6 went off the rails, I think we can all get along just fine.

Step-siblings through second marriage, one is adopted, surrogate parents, etc. All kinds of fun ways for that to happen in this crazy modern age!

Yes, well done sir.

Hmm, the realzinger in there involes carbonite, coupled with "every time I try to get out, they pull me back in." But which version?

You should, on both counts. I overall prefer Next Gen as well, so this advice comes from similar Trek leanings.

Makes sense. Having seen it both ways I really preferred the original voices myself.

Bebop is the one show where I would prob recommend the dubbed. It was great work by the voice actors.
