Ok, who are the best rapper/r&b singer double threats?

Chuck D: I don't know Space Ghost I think he's asking me some pretty good hip hop questions.

Agreed. Strip that beat down please. Don't overproduce.

Monae was just in Chicago on Mon to perform with the Chi Symphony Orchestra. I really wanted to gi, but of course I've been fuckinc overwhelmed with work.

My personal fav is More Songs about Buildings and Food. Highly recommend.

Methinks you need to see the #1 entry on this list. Life saving bicycles indeed! Hmmph.

I think it's more than close to a defense, I think V is trying to say in the right circumstances terrorism IS ok. Moreso, it's a matter of perspective and semantics.

Excellent point. It's something the wife and I bitch about in regards to women in movies in general. Roo often their sole purpose is to be connected to the male lead. Rhat connect can be literal or metaphorical.

And to think all this time I assumed it was new-fangled drugs.

Economy of exposition? Yikes. I thought that windbag scene was endless.

It's not British, but I thought I may as well take the opportunity ti mention Brad Pitt's truly bad Urish accent as an IRA op in "The Devil's Own."

Now that you mention it, the movie may contradict itself on the point of their ages a lot. They specifically say kids, but there are times it implies adults as well. Such as when Neo first meets Trinity, he is aware of Trinity from some major hack back in the day (bank hack maybe? who cares?). I think it implies she

Ok I never would have gotten that. Starting to think I never actually knew it in the first place.

Could I convince Lady BooUrns, who loves Samurai Jack but hates Star Wars, to watch?

Follow up question from my previous thread re: Genndy Tartakofsky's Star Wars Clone Wars:
Is it good because it's Genndy so it's good? Or is it just a good version of something Star Wars?

No one should apologize for that crapper for any reason. BooUrns to both of you.

I want to know the backstory if the guy who sat copilot to Lando in Return of the Jedi.

That's not true! Soon it will show you lens-flared light sabers.

Who has watched the Clone Wars stuff helmed by Genndy Tartakofsky? I've been rewatching and loving Samurai Jack lately. I wrote off anything with Star Wars in the title after the prequel disasters. Normally director trumps all for me, but I was just really over anything Star Wars related at the time.

I'm a big fan of both thoughtful cinema (such as our and others discussion of David Lynch last week), and low-brow fare which is entertainment only.
