I didn't hate it, but it's definitely overrated. Luckily, Card turns out to be more of a douchebag by the day, so it keeps getting easier to admit that you don't get what the big deal is.

When I was young, the family went bowling on Thanksgiving after lunch. Then as I got older, we started watching the MST3K marathons. Now that we're all old, it's pretty much my younger brother making up an excuse to not show up, and my older brother making an excuse to leave as soon as lunch and football are over…
I wish they still did marathons on Thanksgiving.
I just googled the phrase to see What Up and the internet seems to think it was Kristen Stewart who said that.
That's pretty much how I feel about it. I've only seen the first one, because it was on basic cable and I was like, alright, all media seems to focus on this once in a while, so what the hell is it? Well, it's mindless crap, but it's harmless and kind of fun at points. It's also super dramatic, which is obviously a…
I was going to respond with a line from the Lil Jon remix but I couldn't think of one that wouldn't have potentially gotten my comment flagged.
I think the recipe stolen from Blais's book was something that Blais had thought up and written down while he was there, so it wasn't brought in with him.
I have to say, I kind of wish they'd just stop having people bake cakes. It's hard to bake a good cake from scratch and it's kind of a different skill set from being a chef. People either cheat and do it from a box and get yelled at, or it turns out crappy and nobody likes it. Just have 'em cook.
Also thought this was Tim Donaghy. Never seen either of these shows.
I remember seeing ads for it when I lived in Philadelphia, but I never saw (or looked for) the actual channel there.
Yeah, Cera was about the only thing I didn't like in the movie.
I guess "get fucked" wasn't the answer Arnold was looking for.
Same thing happened with Schwarzenegger in Commando, as Rae Dawn Chong fell victim to both his need for her car and his manly, manly ways. David Patrick Kelly also fell for her, but unfortunately he couldn't come up with a better line than "you fuckin' whore," so obviously that wasn't going anywhere.
It looks like you don't need any more suggestions, but what the hell. If you're interested in space science at all, I highly recommend AstronomyCast. The only bad thing about it is that they seem to have an irregular schedule for releasing them. My other favorite podcast right now is Planet Money, but obviously that…
I've tried to listen to TWIS many times, but can't do it. Dr. Sanford is fine but that guy with her might be the most annoying human being on Earth.
"Not going to call the police for a while? Have a Snickers."
If you're disappointed in the state of the Science Channel, you should turn to Planet Green, the environment channel, which mostly schedules shows about UFOs and ghosts.
It's okay, I think I might be one of the only people who genuinely don't find him funny. There aren't many of us out here. We're banding together to build a hut in the woods and eat fallen berries.
I believe the future of books is hiring people to come into your home and read them to you.
True enough. BTW, you two related?
